I am worried about his spirit. It has only been a week...

A week is way to early about spirits. Medications are still confusing your pup. Find inspiration, support and advice in the tripawd discussion forums.

My daughter and I have a great pyrenees who also just had a front leg amputation. Although he is doing well, I am worried about his spirit. It has only been a week, but I am trying to keep him happy and to stop itching! the wound is healing and we all know the discomforts that come along with that. Your story has given me more strength. I have seen many 3 legged dogs but of course, now I have one and it makes everything more personal. Snow will be fine and I am sure he will once again walk and run. I guess I just want it to happen sooner than later. Hw is such and amazing dog, such a joy. My vet was right. This is more difficult on the owners. I could not tell him why we needed to do this and I just hope he somehow understands.

We've known Cali via Dogster.com since the 'beginning' of her ordeal and love her very much. We're so excited to see her featured here.
She is an incredible dog and has wonderful pawrents! We're sure they will do anything for Cali and find her a 'job' that will satisfy her desire to work.
We wouldn't be surprised at all if she were back with her team with the right harness. We know that may be a dream but that is how determined she and her pawrents are.
We Love You Calipurnia!!!
Way to go Pawrents!!!
